SVP of MARKETING & CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development Kurt is responsible for driving AnchorOps marketing, product management, strategic alliances, and technology partnerships. Kurt comes to AnchorOps via Courion Corporation, a leader in identity and access management software, where he was responsible for Courion’s overall corporate direction, product strategy, strategic investment, channel and alliances, and mergers and acquisitions. Kurt was instrumental in positioning Courion as a recognized industry leader and served as its primary spokesperson and evangelist.
Prior to joining Courion, Kurt was Vice President of the Service Management Strategies program at META Group, a prominent international industry research organization. At META, Kurt established himself as a leading authority in the areas of the help desk, IT service management, system management, and IT outsourcing markets. Previous to working at META Group, Kurt held senior positions with The Bentley Company (acquired by eLoyalty) an enterprise CRM consulting company, International Data Corporation (IDC), a premier global provider of market intelligence and advisory services, and Digital Equipment.
Widely recognized as an authority on IT security and IT Service Management, Kurt is a founding board member of the HDI Strategic Advisory Board. He is a frequent speaker at well-known industry events including Gartner’s Security and IAM Summits; ISACA; MIS Training Institute and Help Desk Institute conferences, to name a few. Kurt also is a Board member of Cambridge Savings Bank.
Kurt holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Marketing and Finance from Boston College.
